Mestre Boneco
In 1989, Mestre Boneco received his black belt and the title of Mestre. Recognized by
the Brazilian Capoeira Foundation, this honor was awarded by the Ginga Association of
Capoeira Bahia, Grupo Cordao de Ouro, Capoeira Senzala and Capoeira Gerais. Now, with
programs throughout Brasil, North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia, Mestre
Boneco supervises over fifty instructors and has produced more than twenty international
festivals and batizados. With his dynamic energy both in class and in the roda, Mestre
Boneco has become one of the most well-known Mestres in the Capoeira world.
